Refund Policy
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to all paid features, subscriptions, and one-time purchases (collectively, “Paid Plans”) offered through fruity.bio. It supplements our Terms of Service.
2. General Refund Rule
All payments are processed in advance and are non-refundable, except where required by law or expressly stated in this policy. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused time, downgrades, or features that you have not used.
3. Cancelling a Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals — your access continues for the remainder of the current billing period, after which the account is downgraded to the free tier (if applicable). No refund is provided for the time remaining in the current period unless otherwise required by law.
4. EU/UK 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within fourteen (14) days of the date of purchase without giving any reason.
However, by purchasing a Paid Plan and beginning to use any digital content or service before the end of the 14-day period, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once we begin to provide the Service to you. This consent is collected at the time of purchase where required by law.

5. Discretionary Refunds
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in circumstances such as:
- a duplicate or accidental charge clearly attributable to a billing error on our side;
- extended Service unavailability that materially prevents you from using the Paid Plan and where no commercially reasonable workaround is available;
- where required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
Discretionary refunds are not a precedent and do not create any obligation to issue refunds in similar circumstances in the future.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are never refundable except where required by applicable law:
- subscription fees for periods that have been at least partially used;
- purchases of digital goods that have been delivered or activated (themes, layouts, vanity aliases, custom domains, badges, etc.);
- fees attributable to Service usage that violated our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, including accounts terminated for cause;
- third-party fees, payment processor fees, and taxes.
7. How to Request a Refund
Where you believe you are eligible under this policy, send a request to [email protected] within thirty (30) days of the charge, including:
- the email address associated with your account;
- the order or invoice number;
- the reason for your request;
- any supporting evidence.
Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within a reasonable period (typically 5–10 business days, depending on the processor).
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback or dispute through your bank or card issuer. Filing a chargeback for a charge that does not qualify for a refund under this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account, recovery of fees, and a prohibition on future use of the Service.
9. Taxes
Refunds are issued net of any non-refundable taxes, payment processor fees, currency conversion fees, and similar charges, except where prohibited by applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates the most recent version. Changes apply only to purchases made after the effective date.
