Cookie Policy

Effective:2026-04-13Last updated:2026-04-13Version:1.0
The short versionWe use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser or our cookie settings (where shown).

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember preferences, to authenticate users, and to provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and SDKs; for the purposes of this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Strictly necessary · required to operate the Service, authenticate you, maintain sessions, secure forms against CSRF, and remember consent choices. These cannot be disabled without breaking functionality.
  • Functional · remember preferences such as theme, language, and dashboard layout to give you a consistent experience.
  • Analytics & performance · help us understand how visitors interact with the Service so we can improve it. Where required by law, we set these only after you opt in.
  • Security & fraud prevention · help us detect abuse, bots, and unauthorized activity.

We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.

3. Categories of Cookies We Set

3.1 Strictly necessary

  • better-auth.session_token · authenticates your session. Session/persistent.
  • better-auth.csrf_token · protects against cross-site request forgery. Session.
  • fruity.consent · stores your cookie preferences. Persistent (up to 12 months).

3.2 Functional

  • fruity.theme · your selected color theme. Persistent.
  • fruity.locale · your preferred language. Persistent.

3.3 Analytics

  • Aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics that count visits and measure feature usage. These do not identify you personally.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some pages embed content from third parties (such as YouTube videos, Spotify players, or external link previews). Those third parties may set their own cookies, which we do not control. We recommend reviewing the privacy and cookie policies of those providers.

5. How to Control Cookies

You can control or delete cookies in several ways:

  • Use any in-product cookie settings or consent banner where shown.
  • Configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Refer to your browser's help pages.
  • Delete cookies that have already been set, through your browser settings.
  • Use private/incognito browsing windows, which typically do not retain cookies after closing.

Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Service from functioning correctly, including the ability to sign in.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date above indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
